THANK YOU, JA-NE CHUFFED FOUNDING DONORS!!

JA-NE launched a Chuffed Campaign in mid-August 2019 which was live until mid-September 2019. The objective of this one month campaign was to raise funds for initial overhead costs to get the first incubator JA-NE pop-up event and shop off of its feet, with a focus on the fixed and variable costs of the first event in 2019.  The campaign also supported one-time operational costs and admin expenses for the first quarter of business development.

We were able to raise $5,200 in total which exceeded our goal of $5K and continue to benefit from the success of this launch program and event.

SUPPORT THE JAPANESE ARTS NETWORK and help us to lift-up Artists so they are valued, seen and heard.

We greatly appreciate your continued support of the Japanese Arts Network.  Your contributions help our business to continue amidst the ever-evolving shifts and pivots we are making in order to best support Japanese Artists in America and the communities that they support during this time of COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainty and instability that it brings.

Kawaguchi also designed a limited edition t-shirt design for JA-NE, which was included in our Chuffed crowdfunding campaign, which increased visibility for the collaborative work that we do to a broader audience and supported our fundraising effort.

Natto-expert and cultivator,  Eien Hunter-Ishikawa returned to Denver after last year's successful lecture/demonstration to share about Natto culture and its history in relation to the Samurai.
